Teagan and Happy Paws vet furry visitor during September 2023

September has been another fabulous month here at Happy Paws, your local Veterinary Clinic. We’ve welcomed plenty of regular and a newbie doggos and kitties (oh, and their hoomans) into our Coombabah vet clinic. Our devoted and lovely Vet team is committed to ensuring that both you and your beloved furry companions feel completely confident in every member of our veterinary staff every time you visit. We’ve loved seeing everyone – you and your furbabies always make our day.

Just a reminder too, our vet clinic will be closed Monday 2 October for our Monarch’s Birthday 🥳🎂  For any animal emergencies during this time, please contact Animal Emergency Services on 5559 1599. We will reopen as per normal at 8am on Tuesday 3 October to care for your fur babies. Not sure if it’s an emergency? Review our guide about common emergency symptoms.

We firmly believe that you and your cherished pets should receive the same level of care and respect that we would want for ourselves, and this philosophy guided our actions throughout the month of September. Here’s a brief overview of some of the wonderful furry visitors we had at our clinic during that time.

Alfie, Ivan & Alfie

Sometimes the first vet visit photo requires us to do quite a few takes. There’s the blurry ones, the ones where no one is looking at the camera, the ones where we get the back end instead of the front, the ones with hoooomans, and then every now and then, we get that perfect moment and it’s all worth it in the end! Being a part of your pet’s first vet visit brings us so much joy

Dusty (another update – see last month too)

For those keeping up with Dusty’s story he’s had a few more bandage changes since our last update – but good news is, all is going well! We’ve made it our mission to try and brighten his day and keep things fun whilst he has to have his cast on. Here’s a snapshot of Dr Jess‘s latest cast creations. 🤩 What will she think of next?!

Ken (a hooman)

Happy Paws clinic visitor of the hooman kind, Ken displaying is awesome dog print shirt

Dress to impress!! We’re normally fussing all over your pets and their cute outfits or hairdo’s but we wanted to make a special mention of a hooman kind visitor to our clinic. The fabulously attired Ken came in with his pooch, Bessie, for a general health check. How good is his shirt?! Thanks Ken you certainly brightened our day 🙂

Dancing Doggo

It was a Fri-Yay, so yeah well, we had those weekend vibes coming on and dancing like no one was watching!

Miss Kim, Vivian, Milly & Major

Big or small – we 💜 them all! Each of these gorgeous furbabies checked in for a range of different vet services. Welcome to the clinic fam, thanks for visiting.

The cat’s out of the bag!

As many of our visitors to the Happy Paws Veterinary Clinic will know, we are expanding premises and the most exciting part of the expansion is our cat friendly focus. We understand our feline friends require special attention and we want to help reduce stress for them and you!

The expansion will include a separate cat entrance and waiting room, two designated cat consultation rooms (we currently have one) and a hospital ward away from dogs. Our aim is to receive the gold level Cat Friendly Clinic accreditation. The expected completion is early next month. We can’t wait.

Memphis and Moet

Some things are just better together.
